A 54-year-old Zimbabwean farmer Ben Freeth completed a 2000km ride on his horse from his homeland to Windhoek to advocate for justice and property rights. Freeth, who started his journey on the 28th of November last year and arrived in Windhoek over the weekend, is one of many who have lost their property to former president Robert Mugabe’s policy of repossessing farms.

According to Freeth the aim of this journey is to not just advocate for justice and property rights but also to raise awareness on the need for the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Tribunal to be restored and also the need for human rights to be respected.
