A 65-year-old retired nurse from the Zambezi region is using the current rainy season as an opportunity to experiment with sweet potato planting. Fabian Sisamu said that the idea came about after he observed that sweet potato plants are resistant to challenges such as pests and weeds which are caused by rain, unlike with other horticulture produce.
