The Likwama Farmers’ Union based in the Zambezi region voted Raphael Mwinkanda as the new treasurer during its annual congress held recently. The union’s chairperson Alfred Chilinda also retained his position as chairperson during the election. The congress serves as a platform to revisit the union’s constitution, followed by recommendations and elections.
