The Russian-owned Uranium One company is about to complete a new laboratory to test uranium samples locally so that they are no longer exported outside the country for testing. Uranium One’s Chief Operations Engineer, Aldo Hengari, explained that the company spent over N$900 million on the exploration and export of uranium samples because the country does not have the facilities or experts for the task.
