Following a sixteen-month sabbatical, former Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) parliamentarian Vipuakuje Muharukua has formally announced that he has joined the ruling Swapo party. 

Muharukua announced his alliance with Swapo at a media conference held in Windhoek yesterday.  Muharukua affirmed that he will not be emotionally manipulated to think that Swapo is a dragon, adding that the ruling party is indeed the saving grace for Namibia.
