JUST IN: A male student died this morning after jumping off the fourth floor of the restaurant at the National Independence Memorial Museum. The museum is located along Robert Mugabe Avenue. At this stage, the deceased has not been identified, but he is dressed in a navy blue golf shirt. It is alleged that the student visited the museum. The security guard at the scene said they did not see anything, but only heard a sound when the student fell on the pavement.
Namibian Police Forensic Science Institute Commissioner Nelius Becker said he cannot share any information at this stage but indicated that it appears to be a suicide.
