The Namibia Rugby Union (NRU), along with several stakeholders, celebrated the late President Hage Geingob by planting a tree in his memory at the stadium named after him.

NRU vice president, Johan Diergaardt, urged the public during the ceremony to honour the legacy of the late president by taking meaningful action that will benefit generations to come by preserving the environment.
