The Omulunga Gospel Awards 2024 marked a significant milestone in Namibia's gospel music scene, celebrating the talents and contributions of local artists. The event took place on 19 October 2024 at the National Theatre of Namibia in Windhoek, featuring live performances by artists such as Vuyo Johnson, JOSM Choir, and headliner Manda Gabriel.

The competition garnered significant public engagement, with votes tallying 9,000. Winners in nine categories each received N$10,000 and a trophy, totaling N$90,000 in prizes. Notable winners included Forcecome Kamangili for Best Gospel Song of the Year with "Ngee Tandi Dhilaadhila," Martin Uukunde as Best Male Artist of the Year, and the collaboration "Omalaka" by Franklin and Dee'A featuring Ally Tobias, which won Best Collaboration.

The event not only celebrated musical excellence but also fostered a sense of community and spiritual upliftment among attendees. Omulunga Radio expressed intentions to expand the event in the future, calling for more sponsors to support and recognize local talent.
