The Ompata Film Premiere is a significant event in Namibia's film industry, marking the debut of the latest installment in the Ompata series. The most recent film, Ompata: The Beginning’s End, premiered on 31 October 2024 at Ster Kinekor Grove Mall in Windhoek. This sequel continues the gripping narrative of Doggbulls, who, after the murder of a corrupt officer, finds himself imprisoned. With the assistance of his associate Drea, he orchestrates a daring escape, plunging the city into chaos as authorities scramble to restore order.

 

The film was produced and shot over nearly a year, from late 2023 to August 2024, featuring familiar faces and local settings that resonate with the Namibian audience. Directed by Anne Hambuda, Ngamburiro Mutumbwa, and Imãn Ayisha, the movie boasts a diverse cast, including Dorian Mario, Khadijah Mouton, Woudré Tune, and Karishma Isaacs. The premiere attracted significant attention, reflecting the growing interest and support for Namibian cinema.
