Namibian Police stated that they will suspend vehicle licence discs that are expired, counterfeit, and those that do not match the vehicle being driven. As a result, the police advised drivers to make sure their vehicles are roadworthy before travelling this holiday, which begins with having a valid license disc.

After issuing a press statement this week on suspending vehicle licence discs, the Namibian Police stated that any police or traffic officer may seize or confiscate vehicle discs where they are suspected to be falsified or not applicable to the vehicle.
