President Nangolo Mbumba has urged Namibians to protect the ocean and its biodiversity, highlighting the critical importance of safeguarding them amidst escalating threats such as pollution, overfishing, and climate change.

Mbumba made these remarks during the recent celebration of World Ocean Day at Walvis Bay Independence Beach.
