By: Ellen Shihepo The Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform (MAWLR) Calle Schlettwein, said that the country’s first wastewater treatment plant near Windhoek’s Goreangab Dam is in the process of being upgraded by adding a second plant to increase drinking water demand by 30 percent once completed. This comes as part of Schlettwein’s contribution at the Cairo Water Week Round Table Water Reclamation and Desalination Experts Meeting which took place in Egypt this week.
