It’s not clean water to drink, but what can one do? Community members from the Tololi village located in the Katima Mulilo Rural Constituency have been using swamp water for drinking, industrial use as well as for agricultural purposes after the theft and vandalism of the solar powered borehole in the area, two years ago.

Community member from the village, Edinah Pilaelo, said although they use watermaker sachets to purify the water, it remains unfit for human consumption.
