Namibia National Reinsurance Corporation (NamibRe) managing director, Patty Karuaihe-Martin was sworn in as the new President of the Africa Insurance Organisation (AIO).

Karuaihe-Martin, who previously held the vice-president position, takes over the presidency from Benhabiles Cherif, who headed the organisation for the past year.
