The One Economy Foundation held its inaugural Media Awards Ceremony in Windhoek on Friday evening to honour outstanding journalists from print, broadcast, and digital platforms who produced impactful coverage on gender-based violence and femicide, sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and mental health in Namibia.

A panel of judges assessed the submissions of nearly 60 entries across all categories before choosing winners. In addition to the trophies, the winners received cash awards ranging from N$5 000 to N$10 000.
