The Embassy of Japan and UNFPA gave 24,000 packs of sanitary pads to the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture. 

The pads are for marginalised girls in the Kunene, Ohangwena, Omusati, Zambezi, Erongo and Khomas regions. 

The packs are part of a N$3.8 million consignment to the Ministries of Health and Education and the One Economy Foundation.
