Amateur boxing stables in Katima Mulilo, such as Kamunu and Sanjo Boxing Clubs, are receiving significant attention from Iron Lady Promotions. The boxing stable was launched between 2011 and 2012 by Anita Tjombe, to promote raw talent, including female boxers and trainers.

The boxing stable hosted an amateur boxing event this past Saturday at the Katima Mulilo Sports Complex. Four boxers were selected to represent the region at an upcoming amateur event scheduled to take place in Windhoek in September.
