iCAN National Accounting Summit 2023

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Namibia held its first National Accounting Summit on 16 and 17 November 2023. This first-of-its-kind two-day event aimed to position the accounting profession for relevance, digitalisation, governance, and sustainability. The stage boasted more than 30 speakers, with over 290 attendees.   

TribeFire Studios CEO, Stefan Hugo, a Chartered Accountant and member of ICAN, joined a Panel Discussion on “Digital transformation: Analysing the impact of technology on accounting practices, including automation, cyber security, and artificial intelligence.” 

TribeFire Studios supported the iCAN team, by setting up & hosting the icansummit.com.na website. The website was used for registrations, event information, an up-to-date event programme, polls, feedback forms and event pictures and videos – all in one convenient digital space. The teams at OneAfrica & 99FM supported ICAN with pre and post-event coverage on our traditional & digital communications platforms.
