Green Hydrogen commissioner, James Mnyupe said that the 24 percent stake offered to the government, estimated at N$14 billion, to acquire a share in the Hyphen Green Hydrogen, is significant when compared to the country’s gross national income. Mnyupe, who was speaking during the discussion on the recent hydrogen programme development on Monday, indicated that selling half of the stake is likely a viable option. Mnyupe’s remarks come after the government had six months to determine how they would source funding for the project as per the feasibility and implementation agreement signed by the two parties.
