A farmer from the Omaheke region, Francois Van Schalkwyk, said exploration activities of Uranium One which is close to his farm have not caused hazards for him.

Van Schalkwyk,who is involved in crop and animal farming among others, stated that whether farmers are against or for Uranium One’s exploration activities and mining aspirations, the government has the final say on whether uranium mining will be permitted.
