In Windhoek’s Wanaheda area, 43-year-old Nangudi Adorofu, faces a troubling situation.
He says his 7-year-old daughter is unable to attend school due to the lack of a birth certificate, which he cannot obtain because the child’s mother, who left the family after the child’s birth, is very difficult to trace.
Adorofu says being in possession of police declarations confirming the mother’s absence have also not been of help.
