Chief Katjambiaa Tjambiru of Etanga in the Kunene region has appealed to schools to allow OvaHimba children to wear their traditional attire to school. She expressed concerns that wearing school uniforms threatens their culture, as children are increasingly favouring modern clothes over traditional garments.
