Affirmative Repositioning (AR) Activist in Chief, Dr. Job Amupanda, stated that Namibian political parties are experiencing a crisis, noting that politicians tend to be inactive and unresponsive outside of election years, failing to implement meaningful changes for the people.

Speaking at a press conference Wednesday, Amupanda explained that this political crisis operates at the level of dialectics and ideas, questioning whether political parties in Namibia take themselves seriously.

“Under normal circumstances, when it’s not an election year, politicians in Namibia will never do anything, will never fight for anything, will never implement anything that is beneficial to our people because of the crisis of politics,” said Amupanda.
